The goal of the transition program is to develop a vocational program that will provide students with general employability skills and prepare them to enter paid or unpaid employment in specific occupations.
Using the Transition Inventory and other appropriate assessments, students indicate what type of job they are interested in. Students are trained in the classroom in their vocational class on different activities related to their interest. Students are also given opportunities to volunteer and apply what they learned in specific jobsites.
